AOT Skip Bins is a 100% family-owned and operated business servicing the Southern, Central and Western suburbs of South Australia. When we say family-owned business, we actually mean that.

Even our name represents our family. People often ask me, “Beau, what does AOT stand for?” As you can guess, coming up with a business name can be hard, so I focused on what is most important to me: my children. From there, AOT Services Group and AOT Skip Bins were born.

I have owned AOT Garden & Property Maintenance for the past two years and built a loyal clientele based on good, honest, and reliable service. AOT Skip Bins offers the same. Staff training and communication with our customers are at the core of everything we do.

Service is at the heart of all we do

Before we started AOT Skip Bins, we were residential and commercial customers of other skip bin hire companies. We used them to do spring cleans around our homes or when we were doing garden renovations for clients. My pet peeve with all of these companies was their lack of communication and poor timekeeping.

Time after time, I would call a company and leave a message regarding the hire of a skip bin, only to be left hanging, waiting for a phone call back. When we started AOT Skip Bins, communication became one of our main focuses.

Sure, we may not be able to answer the phone the first time every time, but we will always get back to you in a timely manner. We understand your time is precious. You want your questions answered then and there and to place a booking with minimal fuss. We pride ourselves on our communication with potential and current customers.

Hygiene and presentation – our skip bins are scrupulously cared for

Another thing that always really gets my goat is the lack of presentation of the skip bins, the truck and the people delivering the bins. If you will have a bin in a yard for four days, at least make sure it looks half decent.

Yes, these skip bins get bruised and battered regularly. We aim to make sure our bins are better presented than those of the next skip bin company. AOT also ensures that our truck is kept respectable and that our staff is neatly presented. As a team, we feel this reflects how we run our business.

No matter how big or small your rubbish removal needs are, we have bins to suit your job and budget. Our bin sizes range from 2 cubic metres to 9 cubic metres.

In addition to our strong work ethic, we ensure that our bins are specifically engineered to facilitate easy loading. Every bin except our two cubic meter skips is fitted with a rear access door to make things easier.

AOT Skip Bins is competitively priced in the South Australian market. We are always more than happy to match a price if you have been quoted less elsewhere. We have no hidden fees like some other skip bin companies.

AOT will inform you of additional fees for items such as mattresses and weight restrictions on certain bins. We will not surprise you later with a bill for excess weight. We will inform you of these conditions upon booking so you can make an educated decision.

AOT has experienced, friendly and helpful staff to answer any and all of your questions. I know many companies may say that and it is taken as a given, but not all skip bin companies are equal. As a person who used to hire skip bins regularly, I can tell you, not everyone is helpful over the phone.

Our team can assist you with any inquiry about commercial or domestic bin collection and hire from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am – 2:00 pm on Saturdays.

However, if you phone us after hours, you will likely get put through to one of our staff, who can help answer your questions. After 8 pm, if you leave a message, someone will return your call the following morning.
